Because we reserve real, living flowers on the farm for every order, cancellation refunds depend on timing and season. Here's exactly how it works.
Regular Season Cancellations
If you cancel an order before it ships, you'll receive a credit or refund for 75% of your order. The remaining 25% covers the flowers already reserved and cut for you, inventory that can't be resold or recovered once it's set aside. Once your order has shipped, we're unable to accept any cancellation, even within 24 hours of placing it.
Holiday Season Cancellations
During Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas, farms reserve significantly more flowers, further in advance, to meet demand, so the cancellation terms are different:
- Cancel before the cutoff (8 business days before your scheduled delivery date): you'll receive a credit or refund for 50% of your order.
- Cancel within 8 business days of your scheduled delivery date: no refund or credit is issued. At that point, the flowers reserved for your order can no longer be redirected or resold.
- Once shipped, the same rule applies as Regular Season: no cancellation is possible, regardless of timing.
Our Holiday Seasons are:
- Valentine's Day: January 1 – February 14
- Mother's Day: April 1 – second week of May
- Christmas: Second week of November – December 25
Why This Policy Exists
Unlike most retail products, our flowers are reserved and cut specifically for your order, often weeks in advance during high-demand seasons. Once a stem is set aside for you, it can't simply go back into inventory for another customer. These percentages reflect the real cost of that reserved, perishable product, not an arbitrary cancellation fee.
