Every box we ship is backed by two audited, third-party certifications, not a marketing claim, but a standard we're re-verified against every year.
Flor Ecuador Certified®
Flor Ecuador Certified® is Ecuador's national sustainability and social-responsibility standard for the flower industry, established in 2005 by Expoflores. The current standard (V4.0) evaluates farms across 195 requirements spanning production, safe agrochemical use, harvest quality, environmental management, and worker safety. Of the requirements that apply to our operation, we meet 100%, verified through an annual recertification audit, since certification isn't permanent and must be earned again every year.
BASC Certified
BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce) is the world's largest public-private trade security alliance, with over 4,400 certified companies across 11 countries, recognized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Our BASC certification means every shipment moves through a verified, secure supply chain, from our farms to your door.
Precision Quality Control
Beyond certifications, we use GPS-based pest and disease monitoring across our fields, mapping crop health at a micro-location level every day. This lets us treat only the specific areas that need it, instead of blanket treatments across an entire farm, resulting in healthier stems with fewer chemical residues.
Since 1997
Our growing operations have been rooted in Ecuador since 1997, long before Ecuador Direct Flowers brought that experience direct to florists and businesses across the U.S.
A Constitutional Commitment
Ecuador is one of the only countries in the world whose constitution grants legal rights to nature itself, written into national law in 2008. Sustainable farming here isn't just a certification requirement, it's a constitutional one.
