Barista Rose
A Warm, Earthy Terracotta
Barista Rose brings a warm terracotta tone, closer to earth-toned pottery or roasted coffee than a typical pink or red. Farm-direct from Ecuador, its unusual natural color makes it a standout choice for palettes that want to move away from traditional rose tones. It pairs naturally with Eucalyptus and Solidago for a warm, rustic arrangement.

Is Barista Rose tinted or a natural variety?
Barista Rose is a natural variety, bred to grow in this warm, earthy terracotta tone rather than tinted afterward. Because it's not part of our tinting process, there's no extra lead time to account for when ordering, and the color you see is simply how the plant grows. That makes it a dependable, consistent choice compared to a hand-tinted rose aiming for a similar earthy tone.
Why does it arrive looking tighter than expected?
Like every fresh-cut rose we ship, Barista Rose arrives with its outer guard petals still in place. This is completely normal and not a defect, gently removing those outer petals once the rose arrives reveals the fuller bloom and its full earthy tone underneath. Most of that change is visible within the first hour or two once the bloom has had time in fresh water.
How long does Barista Rose last?
Farm-direct from Ecuador, Barista Rose typically holds for 14 to 21 days in the vase with fresh water and a recut every few days, well past the shorter vase life common with roses already several days into a longer distribution chain. Keeping the water clean also helps preserve its warm, muted tone through the full window. Its uncommon tone also makes it easy to spot in a mixed arrangement without dominating the palette.
Who tends to choose Barista Rose?
Florists reach for it when a design calls for a warm, unconventional neutral rather than a typical pink or red. Event planners favor it for fall or rustic-themed events where its earthy tone fits the palette better than a brighter color. It also pairs unexpectedly well with deep greens and burgundy tones for a moody, autumnal palette.
