Why does Mandala Rose's fullness vary more than other varieties?

Mandala Rose has one of the widest petal count ranges in our catalog, meaning individual stems can look noticeably fuller or simpler than one another even within the same order. That natural variation is part of the variety's character rather than an inconsistency, and it means a single box of Mandala Rose can offer more visual texture than a more uniform variety would on its own. It's a useful distinction to know when a client asks for one look specifically and the two might otherwise seem interchangeable.

Why does it arrive looking tighter than expected?

Like every fresh-cut rose we ship, Mandala Rose arrives with its outer guard petals still in place. This is completely normal and not a defect, gently removing those outer petals once the rose arrives reveals the fuller bloom underneath, though the final fullness will vary somewhat from stem to stem. Most customers notice the fuller, truer color within the first hour or two after the rose has had time in fresh water.

How long does Mandala Rose last?

Farm-direct from Ecuador, Mandala Rose typically holds for 14 to 21 days in the vase with fresh water and a recut every few days, well past the shorter vase life common with roses already several days into a longer distribution chain. A regular recut and clean water both help it hold its shape and color for the full window. Recutting the stem at an angle every time also helps keep water uptake steady across the full window.

Who tends to choose Mandala Rose?

Florists use it when a design benefits from some natural variation in bloom size across the same box. Event planners also favor it for romantic arrangements where that texture reads as organic rather than uniform. Either way, its dependable performance makes it easy to plan into an arrangement built a few days ahead of the event itself.
