How does Nina Rose compare to Tycoon, our other orange?

Nina Rose carries more petals than Tycoon Rose, which has a mustard-yellow undertone within its orange. Nina stays closer to a pure, warm orange throughout, making it the more straightforward choice whenever a design calls for orange without a secondary yellow tint. It's a useful distinction to know when a client asks for one look specifically and the two might otherwise seem interchangeable.

Why does it arrive looking tighter than expected?

Like every fresh-cut rose we ship, Nina Rose arrives with its outer guard petals still in place. This is completely normal and not a defect, gently removing those outer petals once the rose arrives reveals the fuller bloom underneath. Most of that change becomes visible within the first hour or two once the bloom has had time in fresh water.

How long does Nina Rose last?

Farm-direct from Ecuador, Nina Rose typically holds for 14 to 21 days in the vase with fresh water and a recut every few days, well past the shorter vase life common with roses already several days into a longer distribution chain. A regular recut and clean water both help it hold its shape and color for the full window. Recutting the stem at an angle every time also helps keep water uptake steady across the full window.

Who tends to choose Nina Rose?

Florists reach for it when a design needs a clean, warm orange with real fullness. Event planners often use it for fall events alongside other warm-toned blooms. Either way, its dependable performance makes it easy to plan into an arrangement built a few days ahead of the event itself.
