A Delicate Light Pink, Soft and Understated

How does Pink Mondial Rose compare to our other light pinks?

Of the light pink varieties we grow, Pink Mondial Rose has the lowest petal count, which gives it a softer, more open look once fully bloomed rather than a dense, layered one. That doesn't make it a weaker choice, its simpler structure just reads as more delicate and understated next to fuller varieties like Jessica or Paloma Rose. It's a natural pick whenever the brief calls for "soft" over "lush."

Why does it arrive looking tighter than expected?

Like every fresh-cut rose we ship, Pink Mondial Rose arrives with its outer guard petals intact. This is completely normal and not a defect, gently removing those outer petals once the rose arrives reveals the softer, fuller bloom underneath. Because this variety is already delicate, that first hour of rehydration in fresh water makes a noticeable difference in how open it looks.

How long does Pink Mondial Rose last?

Farm-direct from Ecuador, Pink Mondial Rose typically holds for 14 to 21 days in the vase with fresh water and a recut every few days. That's well beyond the vase life common with roses already several days into a longer distribution chain. Regular recutting and clean water matter here as much as on any other variety, even though its lighter petal structure can make it look more fragile than it is.

Who tends to choose Pink Mondial Rose?

Florists use it when a design calls for a quieter, more understated pink rather than a fuller, more dramatic bloom. Home-florists also favor it for soft, everyday bouquets where a delicate look matters more than volume. It also blends easily alongside fuller varieties like Paloma or Jessica Rose when a design wants a mix of textures within the same color family.
