How does White Vendela Rose compare to Tibet and White Mondial?
Of the three whites we grow, White Vendela Rose carries the highest petal count, giving it a fuller, more layered bloom than either Tibet or White Mondial Rose. That extra fullness makes it read as more romantic and higher-end, closer in feel to a garden rose than a classic white. When a design calls for white with real visual weight rather than a simple, traditional shape, Vendela is usually the strongest choice.
Why does it arrive looking tighter than expected?
Like every fresh-cut rose we ship, White Vendela Rose arrives with its outer guard petals intact. This is completely normal and not a defect, gently removing those outer petals once the rose arrives reveals the fuller, richer bloom underneath. Given its higher petal count, it benefits from a full day in water before its final shape is judged.
How long does White Vendela Rose last?
Farm-direct from Ecuador, White Vendela Rose typically holds for 14 to 21 days in the vase with fresh water and a recut every few days. Given its fuller petal structure, keeping the arrangement well ventilated helps it reach the longer end of that window. Regular recutting also supports hydration across its many layers of petal.
Who tends to choose White Vendela Rose?
Florists reach for it for bridal work that wants a lush, romantic white without the cost of a full garden rose. Event planners also favor it for formal events where white needs to carry real visual presence rather than a simple, minimalist look. It pairs especially well with Pink X-pression or Shimmer Rose for an all-garden-style, blush-and-white palette.
