How does Shimmer Rose compare to Pink X-pression, our other Garden Rose here?

Both are Garden Roses bred to open fuller and faster than a standard Fresh-Cut variety, but Shimmer Rose carries roughly half the petal count of Pink X-pression Rose. That makes Shimmer a bit easier to work with in mixed arrangements, since it opens generously without needing quite as much ventilation to avoid trapped moisture between petals. Its warm peach tone also gives it a different role in a design, softer and more autumnal than Pink X-pression's punchier pink.

How long does Shimmer Rose last?

Farm-direct from Ecuador, Shimmer Rose typically holds for 14 to 21 days in the vase with fresh water and a recut every few days. Because it opens fuller than a standard rose, giving it some breathing room in an arrangement helps it hold up cleanly for the full window. A regular recut and clean water both help it reach the longer end of that range, especially given how many petal layers there are to keep hydrated.

Who is Shimmer Rose best suited for?

Its warm, full bloom makes it a strong choice for florists building romantic, garden-style arrangements in a softer, warmer palette than a typical pink or red. Event planners often reach for it for fall weddings, where peach reads as warm and romantic without the intensity of a bolder color. It also pairs well with Tiffany Rose for buyers who want the same peach tone at two different levels of fullness and price.
