How is the color on Dracula Fang Rose achieved?
Dracula Fang Rose starts as a red rose and goes through two steps: first, it's hand-tinted to a deep, blackish red, the same absorption process used on our fully Painted Roses. Then, pastel yellow spots is applied to the surface of the already-tinted petals as a finishing touch. That second, surface-level step is what can wear slightly with handling, while the tint underneath holds as well as any of our Painted Roses.
Does the spots hold up over time?
Some light flaking of the surface decoration is normal and expected over time, since it sits on top of the petal rather than being absorbed into it. Handling the bloom by the stem rather than pressing on the petals helps it stay intact for longer. Keeping it in a dry, cool spot away from humidity also slows how quickly any flaking happens.
How long will Dracula Fang Rose last?
These roses typically hold for 14 to 21 days in the vase, in line with our other tinted and natural varieties. Many customers let the bloom dry afterward rather than discarding it, since the color and finish both tend to hold up well once dried. A regular recut and clean water help it reach the longer end of that window while fresh.
Who tends to choose Dracula Fang Rose?
Event planners reach for it when a design needs texture and visual detail as well as color, for pieces meant to stand out under event lighting. Florists also use it as a single decorative accent stem inside an otherwise simple arrangement, letting the detail carry the visual interest. It also tends to photograph well, since the surface texture catches the light in a way a flat color doesn't.
